I must say, seeing is my passion. Seeing beyond the obvious, past the veneer. Seeing who you are, who you want to be, who you could be, what you want and need me to do, and then finding a way to put it all down in film and digital paint. I love it.

I have won more than 100 local, regional and national Addy awards, as well as a bunch more other awards, and my pictures have appeared in magazines as diverse giants like Time for Kids, Vogue, Seventeen and National Geographic to amazing locals like AZ Society and 85255, as well as tons of calendars, catalogues, food, product, fashion, tourism, and tons more stuff. I love shooting private citizens to look as if they were in magazines. My 7 year old, Zoe has been to 16 countries and 16 states shooting with me, and she has been in more than 400 publications herself.

I always think out of the box because I don’t know where in the box really is. So you always get something totally different.

My new passion is digital painting. It really elevates your photograph to a truly amazing work of art, especially when you put it on this killer gallery wrap and mount it flush to the wall. People actually gasp when them come into my home or studio and see these cool paintings. Thank you Marilyn Sholin, for bringing this amazing side of things into my life!

I have been teaching private and group modeling classes ever since stints in Kauai and North Dakota where I needed models to do major ad campaigns and had to go find them, train them to move well and took them on the road with me all around the world. I had 19 regulars, and now 12 are working models stationed in Milan, Paris, Japan, LA, New York and Minneapolis, some of them with amazing careers going. I’m totally so proud of them.

I shoot up and down the California Coast all summer long.

So, now that you know a little about me, please check out the pics!

All the best,
