Built in 1919 by the esteemed Snowden family of Memphis, the Snowden House is an elegant home fashioned after antebellum Louisiana- style riverfront mansions.
In addition to its historic architecture, Snowden House features charming furnishings and sits on several acres of beautifully wooded grounds. Magnolia, Oak, and Boxwood trees majestically surround the home along the banks of Horseshoe Lake in Arkansas.
The house has remained in the Snowden family as a haven for friendly gathering and gracious entertaining. It was recently renovated to its original splendour by Martha McKay, the Snowden’s granddaughter. The home is now available as a venue for weddings, special occasions and events.
Snowden House is located just 30 minutes from downtown Memphis.
