Serving Southeastern Ohio and Northern West Va, Common Grounds, a restored piece of late 1800s Americana, is a wedding, special event and meeting facility nestled in the beautiful hills of southeastern Ohio in Vinton (Gallia County) Ohio 45686. It is an easy two hour drive from Columbus or Cincinnati and about an hour drive from Huntington or Charleston. Common Grounds is unique in its offering of meeting and event spaces indoors and outside, overnight accommodations for your family and friends, and lawn spaces for special event facilities such as tents. Meeting Spaces:
The Common Grounds Chapel: bench seating for over 140 people, with a fellowship hall in the back. The Guest House: comfortable spaces for meetings, event preparations, and relaxing receptions in five rooms downstairs plus a large screened in porch. The Cafe seats 40 in three connected rooms plus more on two porches. The Pavilion seats about 50 for dancing, buffets, and seated dining. Each of the cottages also has space for small meetings.

The Grounds:
The Large Lawn can hold a 40 foot x 120 foot tent. The Rock Wall garden is a perfect place for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Cafe West Lawn, a great place for outside activities associated with the Cafe or the Play Area.

Six Cottages:
The Guest House: three bedrooms with 4 twin beds and 2 double beds plus a large full bathroom and a laundry. Blue Birds Bungalow: two bedrooms with 2 twin beds and 1 double, one bathroom, lounge area, kitchen, dining area, and laundry. Robins Nest: three bedrooms (5 twin beds and 1 double bed), one bathroom, laundry, kitchen, eating area, and lounge area. Doves Cottage: kitchen, dining/lounge area, bathroom, two bedrooms (2 twin beds and 2 double beds), and a laundry. Wrens Hide Away: kitchen, dining/lounge area, laundry, bathroom, and two bedrooms (2 twin beds and 1 double bed). Owls Loft provides three bedrooms (4 twin beds, 1 double bed), one bathroom, and a laundry.
